Rent a secluded cottage, parts of which date to the late 16th century, on the lower slopes of Cader Idris, one of the highest mountains in Wales and enjoy the peace and serenity of the surroundings.

Wherever you go in Wales history abounds, ancient castles line the coast and borders, Menhirs and stone circles from the bronze age can be seen in many fields, trips can be arranged to visit these sites and tours available at selected sites.

Whatever you want from your holiday we will do our best to accommodate you. Trips, Golfing days, meals in traditional Welsh surroundings can all be booked prior to your arrival.

Gefnir Cottage is a 16 century farmhouse cottage filled with charm and character. The accommodation comprises; Sitting room, kitchen/dining room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. All utensils etc. are supplied. WTB 3 Star

Living area is comfortably furnished with the added bonus of a log burner, colour television and video. There is a view of the garden and hills to the side and views of the the Cardigan Bay and Barmouth harbour to the front.

Spacious kitchen/dining area has all of the appliances and utensils you will need including microwave, fridge and oven.

The bedrooms at Gefnir Cottage comprise 1 Double, 1 Single and a Bunk as illustrated below. The exposed oak beams and sloping floors tell a tale of the buildings age.
