On the edge of Snowdonia National Park and having uninterrupted views of Cardigan Bay, the Ty'r Graig is a remarkable and unique country hotel.

Victorian Style & Elegance

Originally built in 1892 it still retains the elegance and style of the Victorian era with stained glass windows, wood panelling and highly decorated floors and ceilings, whilst offering all the comforts of the twentieth century.

Each bedroom is individually decorated and furnished, with all twelve rooms having en-suite, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryers, colour TV's and direct dial telephones.

Fine Food in Elegant Surroundings

Our menu's are chosen and prepared with attention to detail, they are changed seasonally using the very best of local produce. The excellent cuisine is complemented by our  comprehensive list of fine wines.

'Ty'r Graig' means 'house on the rock' and below us the sandy beach is safe for bathing and is easily accessible by means of a private path from the hotel grounds.

Ty'r Graig is situated in an area of natural beauty and is an ideal touring base for the whole of North and Mid Wales. There are many activities in Barmouth and the surrounding area including, golf, fishing, bird watching, water sports and pony trekking.

Barmouth is also ideally situated for visiting the many 'Great Little Trains of Wales' and other well known attractions. It is also a Mecca for hill walkers and ramblers.
